Sarah joined People United in July 2009 and has worked in educational and community settings for 14 years. Previously she led community arts at AmicusHorizon Housing Association, and was a drama lecturer and co-ordinator at Canterbury College. She began at People United as project manager for We All Do Good Things: Herne Bay and now manages most of our artistic projects (e.g. Artist Commissions, Neighbourhoods and Schools programmes). With an interest in applied and participatory arts, she recently gained an MA from the University of Kent, writing 40,000 words on the role of digital technology within participatory arts practices.
