Tom Andrews is the Founder and Director of Advocacy and Support at People United. He has worked for 21 years in the arts, education and community sectors. Central to his working life has been using creativity to nurture understanding and to bring people together. Previously Tom founded and ran the acclaimed music organisation Music for Change and worked as strategic manager for the Royal Opera House. He also wrote the first education pack on Tibet and promoted artists from around the world as part of the voluntary initiative Under One Sky. He was part of the first cohort of fellows on the Clore Leadership Programme and regularly mentors cultural and community leaders.

As Director of Advocacy and Support Tom leads on our consultancy, mentoring and training work, developing partnerships and networks which extend our reach through dissemination, replication, advocacy, guidance and advice.
