Sarah has over 15 years of working in educational and community settings. She was formerly Head of Creative Programmes at People United when she developed and grew our creative work from 2009-2018. Before working for People United, she led community arts at AmicusHorizon Housing Association, and was a drama lecturer at Canterbury College and University of Kent.  She has strong expertise in growing and fostering an innovative values-led and asset-based approach to participatory arts practice. Sarah’s work for us as an Associate focuses on approaches to participatory arts practice, consultancy, research and methodology.

Sarah has an MA from the University of Kent,exploring the role of digital technology within participatory arts practices.
