There are exciting changes afoot at People United as we enjoy our 10th year. Founder Tom Andrews is taking on a new role as Director of Advocacy and Support which involves taking our work out nationally and beyond. Tina Corri, who joined as Co-Director in 2014, will be taking on the role of Chief Executive, and is delighted to be leading the amazing People United team at such an exciting time.
Tom’s ambassadorial focus will help spread our work more widely through support, training, mentoring, advocacy and consultancy. Tom has been keen to explore how to multiply our impact through supporting others for some time, and this new role will enable him to grow this area of our work and respond to the numerous requests for collaboration and assistance (including recently from Kent to Manchester and Hong Kong).
Tina will lead the organisation into its next phase of development and growth. Continuing to oversee both the artistic and operational hearts of the organisation, from projects and commissions to events, communications, partnerships, learning and fundraising, she will be holding the People United ship steady and true, planning the route ahead and building on the last 10 years.
“I am delighted to take up this new position at People United. As the founder, I have been wanting to evolve my role within the organisation; playing to my strengths and ensuring the future sustainability for the charity. I am looking forward to continuing to work with Tina – who is a fantastic, enabling leader – alongside our hugely talented and committed staff team.” Tom Andrews

It’s a real privilege working with Tom and our brilliant team, and our focus on taking our work out more widely is a wonderful direction for us to take”. Tina Corri
