This week we said ‘arrivederci’ to our outgoing Chief Executive Officer Tina Corri.
Tina has been with People United for almost 5 years and during that time she has continued to build on our successful foundations and take the charity from strength to strength. Some of her highlights include growing the People United team, launching our second research report, helping us to light up the UK with our neon ‘be kind’ signs, developing our Arts and Kindness weeks in schools and securing a further 4 years for People United as an Arts Council NPO.
“It’s been an amazing privilege working for such a unique charity which channels the power of the arts to bring people together and be a catalyst for kindness. People United, whilst small, is ambitious, packed full of ideas and more relevant than ever in its work to connect people through creative projects and interventions in our schools, neighbourhoods, parks and public spaces. I feel so fortunate to have worked with the fantastic team and some wonderful artists, and the many researchers, partners, participants and funders who have made it all possible. I can’t wait to see what happens in its next chapter!”
The team would like to wish Tina all the best as she embarks on new freelance adventures. We will miss her, but thankfully she won’t be going too far as she will be joining the ranks of our amazing Associates. The first piece of work she will be undertaking for us is to oversee the creation of our next research report and resource about our participatory methodology, which will be launched next year.
