We are delighted to invite you to the opening exhibition of Home; a showcase of the work created through this year’s Artist Commission in Ashford, Kent.
Led by artist Anna Ray, the commission has brought recently arrived Syrian women and long term Ashford residents together to creatively explore what ‘home’ means to them. Through weekly workshops the women have been creating textile based artwork which will now be on display, along with a piece Anna has created inspired by her experience.
