Kindness Challenge Badge
Reintroducing People United’s Kindness Challenge Badge
People United developed the Kindness Challenge Badge for Girlguiding in 2013, trialling our ideas with two Brownie and Guide groups – Hampton Guides and the 1st Shorncliffe Gurkha Brownies and Guides. In 2020 we adapted the Kindness Challenge so that it could be completed by groups remotely during lockdowns.
The current syllabus is flexible, so that Girlguiding groups can work on it together in-person or complete the sections individually if needed. The Kindness Challenge Badge is about being kind to others, is suitable for all Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Leaders.
I think I have changed and I think about how I can be kind to people all the time… I have learnt that kindness comes in different forms and it isn’t hard to do. Alyssa Taylor, 8th Addiscombe Brownies
