Dr Rachel Seoighe

Associate

Rachel is one of our associates from Tend Towards Justice, a collective supporting arts organisations build resillient futures. She is a researcher, facilitator, writer and cultural producer. She works to analyse and resource social movements and transformative justice.

She is an honorary Senior Lecturer in Criminology at the University of Kent and a Senior Research Fellow at the School of Advanced Study. Rachel’s work is concerned with state violence, resistance, memory and abolition. Working from a decolonial, feminist perspective, her research has primarily focused on the legacies of civil war in Sri Lanka and the closure of London’s Holloway Prison.
