Becky is an artist specialising in participatory arts and creative facilitation. She joined People United in 2015 and has since managed several of our participatory projects instilling her passion for visual arts, attention to detail and creative flair.
With an interest in getting young people engaged with arts and creativity, Becky champions arts activities in schools and believes that everyone is an artist. She really enjoys supporting individuals to find their voice and grow their self-belief.
Becky manages our youth programmes including; Arts & Kindness Weeks in schools, Arts Awards and Kindness Badges. She supports projects across all our Creative Programmes, taking a lead on elements within the Artist Commissions and Neighbourhood projects.
Previously Becky worked at Kent & Medway STEM organising interactive science fairs for secondary school students and The Big Draw as a Volunteer Coordinator. She studied Sculpture at The Cass School of Art and always has a ‘making project’ on the go.
